The Youth Justice Board for England and Wales (YJB)
The Youth Justice Board for England and Wales (YJB) is an executive non-departmental public body. Its board members are appointed by the Secretary of State for Justice. The YJB: oversees the youth justice system in England and Wales works to prevent offending and reoffending by children and young people under the age of 18 ensures that custody for them is safe, secure, and addresses the causes of their offending behaviour.

UCL Institute of Health Equity
The Institute was launched in November 2011, to build on previous work to tackle inequalities in health led by Professor Sir Michael Marmot and his team, including the ‘Commission on Social Determinants of Health’ and ‘Fair Society Healthy Lives’ (The Marmot Review). Current work includes a review of Social Determinants of Health and the Health Divide for the WHO European Region. The Institute is supported by the Department of Health, University College London and the British Medical Association. It will seek to increase health equity through action on the social determinants of health.

UK Council for Child Internet Safety (UKCCIS)
UKCCIS is a voluntary organisation chaired by Ministers from the Department for Education and the Home Office. UKCCIS brings together over 180 organisations and individuals from government, industry, law enforcement, academia, charities and parenting groups. Some of the organisations UKCCIS works with include: Cisco, Apple, Sony, Research in Motion, the four largest internet service providers, Facebook and Microsoft. UK DonorLink
UK DonorLink is a voluntary contact register set up to enable people conceived through donated sperm, and/or eggs, their donors and half-siblings to exchange information and where desired to contact each other. The register is specifically for anyone over the age of 18 who was conceived using donated sperm or eggs, or who donated, in the UK, before the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act came into force in August 1991. The register is available throughout the UK.

Understanding Society: The UK Household Longitudinal Survey
Understanding Society is a unique and valuable academic study that captures important information every year about the social and economic circumstances and attitudes of people living in 40,000 UK households. It also collects additional health information from around 20,000 of the people who take part. Information from the longitudinal survey is primarily used by academics, researchers and policy makers in their work, but the findings are of interest to a much wider group of people including those working in the third sector, health practitioners, business, the media and the general public.

United Response is a national charity that supports people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and physical disabilities to take control of their lives. We do this in many different ways – from supporting people to live as independently as possible in their own homes to helping them access their community, get training and seek work opportunities. We also campaign with, and on behalf of, the people we support on the issues that affect their lives. We believe that people with disabilities are equal participants in society and should have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else.
