Eurochild is a network of organisations and individuals working in and across Europe to improve the quality of life of children and young people.
European Anti Poverty Network (EAPN)
At present, EAPN is a network of: 30 national networks of voluntary organisations and grassroots groups. 23 European organisations. The membership of EAPN is involved in a variety of activities aimed at combating poverty and social exclusion including, education and training activities, service provision and activities aimed at the participation and empowerment of people experiencing poverty and social exclusion. Together the membership of EAPN aims to put the fight against poverty high on the agenda of the EU and to ensure cooperation at EU level aimed at the eradication of poverty and social exclusion. EAPN has consultative status with the Council of Europe, and is a founding member of the Social Platform (Platform of European Social NGOs)
European Association of Schools of Social Work
EASSW brings together over 300 different schools, universities and tertiary education institutions supporting social work education. EASSW: promotes the development of social work education throughout Europe develops standards to enhance quality of social work education encourages international exchange provides forums for sharing social work research and scholarship. In all aspects of its work, EASSW adheres to the United Nations’ Declarations and Conventions on Human Rights, recognizing that respect for the inalienable rights of the individual is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace. EASSW represents social work education at the European level at the European Commission, the Council of Europe and with other international organizations

European platform against poverty and social exclusion
With more than 80 million people in the EU at risk of poverty – including 20 million children and 8% of the working population – the European Platform against poverty and social exclusion sets out actions to reach the EU target of reducing poverty and social exclusion by at least 20 million by 2020. Launched in 2010, the platform is part of the Europe 2020 strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.
FEANTSA
FEANTSA, the European Federation of National Organisations Working with the Homeless is an umbrella of not-for-profit organisations which participate in or contribute to the fight against homelessness in Europe. It is the only major European network that focuses exclusively on homelessness at European level.

Global Extension of Social Security
GESS is a global knowledge sharing platform on the extension of social security and aims to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas, capture and document experiences, identify knowledge gaps, create new knowledge and promote innovation. To achieve this goal, GESS relies on the contributions of its users and the dialogue and exchange between them. This platform, developed and run by the ILO Social Security Department, provides an international interdisciplinary knowledge sharing environment and technical assistance services for the extension of social security.
Holocaust Memorial Day
Every year on 27 January, the world marks Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD). On our website you’ll find all of the resources, information and advice you need to participate in HMD. Holocaust Memorial Day provides an opportunity for everyone to learn lessons from the Holocaust, Nazi persecution and subsequent genocides and apply them to the present day to create a safer, better future. On HMD we share the memory of the millions who have been murdered in the Holocaust and subsequent genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur in order to challenge hatred and persecution in the UK today. The Holocaust Memorial Day Trust (HMDT) is a charity which works to raise awareness of HMD. You can find out more about what we do on our website. HMD has taken place in the UK since 2001, and you can find out about how we came into being in our timeline. HMDT was established in May 2005 and during our existence the number of activities held for HMD has grown by over 350%. Our external evaluation following HMD 2012 showed that 96% of respondents would rate their activity a success, mirroring the findings of HMD 2011.
