Autism Europe
Autism-Europe aisbl is an international association whose main objective is to advance the rights of persons with autism and their families and to help them improve their quality of life. Autism-Europe ensures effective liaison among more than 80 member associations of parents of persons with autism in 30 European countries, including 20 Member States of the European Union, governments and European and international institutions. Autism-Europe plays a key role in raising public awareness, and in influencing the European decision-makers on all issues relating to autism, including the promotion of the rights of people with autism and other disabilities involving complex dependency needs. To maximise our impact on EU policies, Autism-Europe works in strategic coalitions with organisations that share the same concerns and goals. These include the European Disability Forum (EDF), the Platform of European Social NGOs and the European Coalition for Community Living (ECCL). Autism Europe is a founder member of these organisations and currently holds the vice presidency of EDF.

BEMIS
BEMIS is the national Ethnic Minorities led umbrella body supporting the development of the Ethnic Minorities Voluntary Sector in Scotland. BEMIS was established in 2002 to promote the interest of minority ethnic voluntary organisations, develop capacity and support inclusion and integration of ethnic minorities communities. It is a member-led and managed organisation with an elected board of directors. The major aims and objectives of BEMIS are to represent and support the development of the ethnic minority voluntary sector across Scotland, and to support the diverse communities and individuals that this sector represents, especially those who are under- represented and disadvantaged. BEMIS aims to address inequalities by empowering communities, working towards an inclusive society by establishing structures, which recognise diversity and empowers ethnic minorities, and ensuring that they are fully recognised and supported as a valued part of the Scottish multicultural civic society.

Care Leavers Association
The CLA works with all care leavers over the age of 16. We are guided by the views of our membership and thus have a wide range of areas of interest and activity. However, our work can be grouped into five main areas: User Led Support - A Network Project, group support, social networking site and virtual mechanisms to help people connect. Projects - Areas of work with specific outcomes – young people, access to records, speaking out media. Training and Assessment - We work with a wide range of organisations to improve service delivery to care leavers through training and quality assessment. Advice, information and signposting - Focus on informing care leavers about their rights through signposting to additional support services and developing our guides and fact sheets while providing some individual casework. Research, Policy and Campaigns - We conduct, collate and promote research about care leavers and produce policy guides to raise awareness of care leaver issues. We campaign on issues to change the care system and improve the quality of life of adult care leavers.
