Social Work is responsible for the provision of a wide range of services and resources to many people. These services are provided in public offices, their own homes, in day centres or in residential establishments. We have a duty to protect vulnerable people from abuse or neglect and to promote voluntary and self-help activities. We provide a service to a wide range of people:

Association of Directors of Adult Social Services

The home of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services, and the voice of adult social care.  The site contains the whole range of policy initiatives, press releases and consultation responses that constitute so much of the daily activity of the Association's members, and is regularly updated.

The Association of Directors of Children’s Services Ltd (ADCS) is the national leadership association in England for statutory directors of children’s services and their senior management teams.

Association of Directors of Social Work

The Association of Directors of Social Work (ADSW) is the professional association of senior social work managers in local authorities in Scotland. ADSW exists to promote social justice and protect the interests of the people who use social work and social care services.

The Association of Social Care Communicators (ASCC) is the only UK organisation that links and supports public information workers in social services and social work departments, health and voluntary sector organisations.
