Association for Care Training & Assesment Networks

ACTAN strives to promote and develop good practice with regard to the training delivery and assessment of health and social care staff, and those who support children and young people.

CACHE

CACHE designs courses and qualifications in the care and education of children and young people. We are the UK’s only specialist Awarding Organisation to do this. Our courses range from entry level to advanced qualifications for sector professionals. You can take them in schools, colleges and training centres throughout the UK.

Children 1st

We deliver services around the country in homes and communities that help children and families every day; we speak out for children's rights by influencing legislation and campaigning to change attitudes towards children and we share our expertise with others, both professionals and volunteers who work with children and families through our training and consultancy services.

Lucy Faithful Foundation

The Lucy Faithfull Foundation (LFF) is the only UK-wide child protection charity dedicated solely to reducing the risk of children being sexually abused. We work with entire families that have been affected by abuse including: adult male and female sexual abusers; young people with inappropriate sexual behaviours; victims of abuse and other family members. Drawing on our expert knowledge about child sexual abuse we offer a broad range of services for professionals and members of the public. These include: assessments, intervention and treatment of known offenders, case specific advice and support, training and development courses and workshops, educational programmes for internet offenders and their families, circles of support and accountability and internet safety seminars for schools (teachers, parents and children).

ofsted

We inspect and regulate to achieve excellence in the care of children and young people, and in education and skills for learners of all ages.

Skills Academy for Social Care

We want to transform the quality of leadership, management and commissioning in social care in England. To achieve this, we are dedicated to supporting and promoting excellent learning and training.

The Education Index

The Education Index at PhDs.org is the Internet’s premier source of updated, clear educational data about undergraduate and graduate programs in the United States. We use publicly available numbers from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and strive to present them in a simple and easy-to-digest way. Our desire is to make it easy for you to pick the best college you possibly can with this index: a college that fits your financial, social and educational interests and goals.
