Railway Chidren
Railway Children fights for children living on the streets Railway Children is an international children's charity. We fight for vulnerable children who live alone at risk on the streets, where they suffer abuse and exploitation. In the UK, society often denies their existence, and in other countries the problem is so prevalent that it has become ‘normal’. They run away or are forced to leave homes where they suffer poverty, violence, abuse and neglect. They find themselves living on the streets because there is nowhere else to go and no one left to turn to. The problems they face on the streets are often even worse than those they endured at home. Every day we fight to change their story. Railway Children race to reach children as soon as they arrive on the streets and intervene before an abuser can. Our pioneering work enables us to get to street children before the streets get to them.
Rape Crisis
Rape Crisis (England and Wales) is a registered charity and the national umbrella organisation for Rape Crisis Centres across the country. We support the work of local centres and aim to develop new centres in areas where there are no or few specialist services. Rape Crisis (England and Wales) campaign continuously to raise awareness of the prevalence of sexual violence and, in particular, we highlight the importance and need for appropriate, high-quality and specialised support.
Refuge
Refuge opened the world’s first safe house for women and children escaping domestic violence in Chiswick, West London, in 1971. Women and children flocked to our doors because, for the first time, someone was saying it was wrong to beat your partner. Back then, domestic violence was seen as a “private matter”, to be dealt with “behind closed doors”. Society turned a blind eye. Since 1971, Refuge has led the campaign against domestic violence. We have grown to become the country’s largest single provider of specialist domestic violence services. On any given day we support over 2,000 women and children. What we believe Refuge is committed to a world where domestic violence is not tolerated and where women and children can live in safety. We aim to empower women and children to rebuild their lives, free from violence and fear. We provide a range of life-saving and life-saving services, and a voice for the voiceless.

This is Abuse
The word "rape" is often associated with a violent assault by a stranger, but the fact is that in most cases the attacker is someone who the victim knows and may even trust such as a friend, partner or someone from school/college/work. Anyone who has been pressured to have sex without giving their consent has been raped
