Who Cares? Scotland
Who Cares? Scotland works with and for Scotland’s children and young people in care. Our work is varied. We lobby local and national government, and we offer information and advice to people working in the care system. We campaign for positive change. But above all, our key offering is in working directly with young people to help them speak out about what they need – and have a right to. Our independent advocacy service guarantees young people in care support and understanding.
Young Minds
YoungMinds was established in 1993 and is the UK’s leading charity committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people. Young people can get lost in the system when they turn 16.YoungMinds’ work is embedded in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The views of children, young people and parents are at the heart of the organisation. Our aim is to improve the lives and futures of many more children and young people experiencing mental distress.
