Human Rights: An Evening of Poetry, Flash Fiction and Mini Dramas

Hosted by the BASW England Black Country Branch, non-members welcome to this free event.

Blakenhall Writers, based in inner city Wolverhampton, have been developing an exciting relationship with the BASW Black Country Branch for more than 5 years, bringing the power of creative writing to illuminate important political and ethical issues relevant to social work in the 21st century. For 2024 we will again be writing poems, flash fiction, mini dramas this time on the theme of 'Human Rights'.

Entertaining and thought-provoking not only for social workers but for anyone concerned about the world wide threats to human dignity and well-being. Come along to listen and if you are feeling inspired we will also offer 'open-mike' space for contributions from the audience

This event will be held in person in Wolverhampton.
