Aim of the workshop:
To help participants develop the skills, confidence and knowledge to write articles for publication in professional journals, professional magazines and professional blog sites.
The workshop will include:
· Information giving and tips on writing for publication
· Individual exploration of ideas participants have for writing
· Consideration of ideas for developing small pieces of research with a view to publication
· Development of plans for taking ideas for writing forward
Course facilitators:
- Declan McNicholl, Editor of ‘Social Care and Neurodisability’, a journal on health and social care practice, research and law for those who work with people with neurological disorders. Declan is employed by Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust.
