CPD for HCPC Profiles! How to complete a professional profile fit for registration!

Aim of the Workshop:
To help develop your skills, confidence and knowledge to write profiles that meet the HCPC standards and to improve your understanding of continued professional development (CPD. The workshop will include:
- Information giving and tips on writing a HCPC profile specific to your organisational role
- To help participants develop the skills in compiling a CPD record of practice
- Clarify what CPD activities you can include in your profile
- How to meet the HCPCs five CPD standards
- Compiling improvement ideas to take forward to the HCPC for future development
- Help to see how CPD can keep your skills and knowledge up to date so you are able to work safely, legally and effectively
Course Facilitators:
- Iain Brown, Practice Leader within Youth Justice, member of BASW England Committee and Criminal Justice Reference Group, Research governance board member and social work practice assessor
- Linda Holt is an independent social worker and consultant and is a guest lecturer on social work programmes. For the last three years Linda has worked as a Mental Health Act Commissioner. She is a member of the BASW Mental Health Reference Group and a member of the BASW/HCPC group working on the development of CPD profiles.
