Nominations are now being sought for superb social work practitioners in Wales ahead of BASW Cymru’s prestigious Social Work Awards 2012, set to be staged this year in Cardiff Bay on 3 October.
Use the nomination form below to nominate a social worker you feel deserves the award, and get your applications in, no later than Wednesday 29th August 2012.
Three awards will be given to those selected by the judges as the most outstanding on each of three categories:
The Practice Teacher Award will be awarded to a Social Worker and Practice Teacher/Assessor who has made an invaluable contribution to the education and development of Practice Teachers in Wales.
The Innovative Social Work Award will be awarded to a Social Worker who has used innovative ideas to pioneer projects for the benefit of service users, carers and families.
The Spirit of Social Work Award will be awarded to a Social Worker who has applied excellent Social Work skills in practice; demonstrating a commitment to BASW’s code of ethics (please note that nominees do not have to be a BASW member to qualify) and National Occupational Standards in Wales.
